Ayesha Curry teams up with Cheeky® Kids with an Aim to Help End Child Hunger in the U.S.

Cheeky®, the modern disposable and porcelain tableware company, and Ayesha Curry announce the launch of Cheeky® Kids, a brand dedicated to kids and baby mealtime products. Cheeky Kids combines whimsical and playful designs with an incredible giving model intended to educate and empower kids to help end child hunger one meal at a time, in partnership with No Kid Hungry®. The first collection from Cheeky Kids, a line of disposable paper goods, exclusively launches at Target stores and Target.com early October nationwide. Each item retails for $2.99.

Cheeky, known for disrupting the disposable and porcelain tableware aisles in the mass retail market with its modern, chic designs and designer collaborations, is setting its sights on capturing a piece of the multi-billion dollar kids and baby industries. PJ Brice, CEO, and Co-Founder of Cheeky believes the company is well positioned to bring meaningful innovation to these categories, in a way that only Cheeky can do.

“Using the expertise we have gained over the past two years, we can bring our product knowledge, amazing design aesthetic, and mission to help end hunger to the kids and baby categories, which we know the consumer will absolutely love,”
— says Brice.

In 2017, Cheeky Kids will launch two additional collections, Cheeky Baby and Cheeky Kids mealtime products.

Ayesha Curry, NY Times bestseller, established food expert and mom of two, is looking forward to being a strong influence in the ongoing development of Cheeky Kids. Curry's role in the company, as Cheeky Kids Ambassador, will include sharing the brands' mission, cause, and products to her highly engaged social media following and working close with the Cheeky team in developing new products and content. Most importantly, Curry, an advocate for No Kid Hungry, hopes to continue to leverage her influence to bring even more attention to child hunger in the U.S.

"I am so excited to partner with Cheeky Kids," says Curry. "It gives me a chance to combine my passions for parenting, cooking, and ending childhood hunger with No Kid Hungry. Together, we're going to make a difference by offering parents beautiful products that make their lives easier and give back to make children's lives better – the perfect combination."

For every pack or item purchased, Cheeky will give a meal to a child in need here in the U.S., through a partnership with No Kid Hungry, a campaign from the national nonprofit Share Our Strength. Brice is thrilled to add No Kid Hungry as one of Cheeky's give partners. "We hope to inspire change at dinner tables across the country by encouraging parents, and most importantly children, to take action," says Brice. "No Kid Hungry really understands how to bring this issue to life in a way that resonates with adults and kids."

No Kid Hungry is working to end child hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. They connect kids in need with nutritious food and teach their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.

"Cheeky shares our belief that no child should have to wonder if there will be food on the table. Instead, childhood should be about learning, growing and having fun," said Billy Shore, CEO and founder of Share Our Strength.
"There are 1 in 5 kids in America struggling with hunger, but we know how to surround those kids with nutritious food where they live, learn and play."
